Originally from Syria, Amal has been living in Banff since 2018. He is an author, photographer, and visual artist making portraits, family sessions, proposals, elopements, and weddings across Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, and the Bow Valley. His work has received awards and grants for both photography and writing, including the Banff Community Wellbeing Grant two years in a row.
